Shipping policy
Shipping timer is displayed on the product page, on it it states the timer for Fedex Shipping (domestic). Also on the cart page it displays when your order will be processed.
There is always a distinction between shipping services and processing time.
If Fedex 24hr (a domestic uk service) is chosen before the cut off the time displays (usually midday), then we will do our utmost to process the order immediately and get it out to you next day.
Royal Mail services and Fedex International of course have different lead times. (Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day services are almost the same as Fedex 24hr..but have the option of choosing a cut off time slot..opposed to 8am-6pm time slot with Fedex 24hr). Again, of course you must take note of the cut off timer in the product page and also the cart page.
We don’t work Saturdays...nor do most people, so of course processing and delivery days will be WORKING DAYS (Mon-Fri). If you order at 3pm on a Friday and choose Fedex 24hr or Royal Mail guaranteed Next day...it would be delivered next working day: Tuesday (as after the cut off Friday).
We can do Saturday delivery’s but BY REQUEST only, give us a call and we will see if it’s possible or not (same applies if it’s gone past the timer..we might be able to help!)
Sometimes we may have to hold a shipment up due to a bank fraud check, as you can appreciate, if the bank throws suspicion on a transaction we are obliged to investigate before we release £2000 worth of equipment.
As a card holder you will also appreciate this fact; as it could easily be your card someone had stolen the details of, and be spending your money; this diligence enables security for all of us.
If a free shipping option is available, its free up to £50, anything over that we will contact you after the order to collect a remaining amount.
Finally, once the order leaves our care, it’s down to the carrier and the man/woman in the van/sorting center to ensure it gets to you on time, we have zero control over them or their processes, we can only trust in their promises and competence. If we have shipped as agreed we have kept our end of the bargain, of course we can help find out what’s going on if a shipment is delayed, but please don’t blame us.
If you are an international customer, then its very likely you will need to pay TAX on your order once it hits your customs clearance centre, it might also be the case you will need to provide tax id to the agent/courier to allow them to clear the goods for delivery. (e.g. in the USA a tax id is required for goods valued at $2500 and above). This is not something Speedy Feet does for fun, its down to your countries governments procedures. Non compliance can lead to the goods being held, then returned, and this usually comes at great expense for which we cannot refund and also make nothing from, the charges are just that -charges that we have to pay over and in turn will have to charge out to yourself if there is a refusal to hand over details to allow the goods to clear customs. (We have been burnt on very rare occasions by those who want to avoid tax and feel they shouldnt pay any!).
Speedy Feet ALWAYS tries to simply offer a service that WE would like to receive ourselves.
